Sheet forming machines of DOA work on aerodynamic principles and allow the production of random sheets. Such a sheet shows even fiber distribution in all directions and good mechanical properties accordingly.

At a certain sheet weight, a fiber orientation in the 3rd dimension may also be achieved - that is especially important for sheets with distinctive features of volume and with increased elasticity of compression.
